Wherever you are this morning, God already knows — and He hasn't left you there by accident. Scripture is full of people God met in the middle of their mess: Moses at the burning bush, Elijah under the broom tree, the woman at the well. None of them had it together, and yet each of them left that encounter changed.
Too often we wait to bring our whole selves to God until we feel ready — until the season makes sense, until the doubt clears, until we've cleaned ourselves up. But the pattern throughout Scripture is the opposite: God meets us exactly where we are, not where we think we should be.
That doesn't mean He leaves us there. Every one of those encounters ended in movement:
- A call
- A commission
- A changed direction
But the movement always started with an honest place, not a polished one.
So today, wherever "right where you are" happens to be — tired, hopeful, unsure, grateful — bring it. That's the starting point of everything God wants to do next.
